When shipping items internationally, it is important to have the items covered by transport insurance. Most Japanese moving or transport agencies have corporate contract with insurance companies and can provide clients with useful assistance.
Transport insurance can cover the load of goods is from the time the items are picked up until they are delivered at the directed destination.
Such insurance does not cover money in cash, stock certificates, or any living pets or animals.
